You can expedite your Trademark registration.

Apr 2019
As the number of trademarks to be examined by the Korean Intellectual Property Office reaches 200,000, it takes about 12 months to register a trademark. The procedure for filing a trademark application in Korea is as follows.
However, this is a very embarrassing problem for businesses that have already been doing business without registering a trademark. If the trademark registration is refused, you may have to change the name of the sign or product you have created so far, but you will not be able to stop the business until the trademark registration result is available. So, the best way to do this is to get your trademark in advance as you prepare your business. Trademark rights should be recognized as a right that must be acquired in advance of business.
But if you have already started your business and can not help it? First of all, you should shorten the examination period to check the results quickly. KIPO has a system called 'Priority examination' which reduce the examination period of 8-10 months to only 1 month. However, the priority examination system only applies to trademarks already used in the market at the time of application. In order to prove this, you must submit materials proving the use of the trademark. (i.e. pictures of signboard or products). There will be extra official fee for priority examination.
